Is the road difficult to access? Do we need a 4×4?

Access is very easy. The entire route is paved up to km 23, though you may need to watch out for cows and horses crossing the road. At the very end, there is about 300 meters of dirt road. No 4×4 is needed, even the smallest city car can reach Faro Romain without any problem.

Is it a dangerous area?

The area is very safe. No incidents of this kind have ever been reported since Faro Romain opened. In fact, guests often feel even safer here than in the city.

How far is Faro Romain from La Paz

Faro Romain is located 30 minutes by car from La Paz and 20 minutes from Centenario, the last delegation.

Is there parking available?

Yes. The Faro Romain property offers plenty of space for parking all vehicles.

Is mobile phone signal or internet available on site?

Mobile phone signal can sometimes be weak, depending on the weather, but Faro Romain provides high-speed internet via Starlink, ensuring a reliable and fast connection at all times.

Can we stay just one night?

No, the minimum stay is 2 nights. In fact, our previous guests have often found that two nights still feels too short to fully enjoy the experience.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. This policy applies when there is both a departure and an arrival on the same day. However, when this is not the case, some flexibility with check-out is usually allowed.

Can we exceed the maximum number of guests (8)?

No. The Faro Romain experience is designed for a maximum of 8 guests. Exceeding this limit can affect the quality of service and may prevent everyone from fully enjoying their stay.

Is the price lower if we come with fewer than 8 people?

No. Faro Romain is rented as a whole, whether you are 1 or 8 guests. While the cost per person is lower with a full group, couples or smaller families also enjoy great value by having more space, privacy, and comfort all to themselves.

Is Faro Romain pet-friendly?

Yes, Faro Romain is fully pet-friendly. Dogs, cats, and other well-behaved pets are welcome at no extra cost. We simply ask that pets do not get on sofas or beds, and that owners bring everything their pets need for their stay.

Does Faro Romain have air conditioning?

Yes. There are four air conditioning units in total: one in each bedroom and one in the living room.

Is the property safe for children?

Yes. Faro Romain is first and foremost a family-oriented place and was designed with safety in mind for everyone, including young children. As with any property, we still recommend adult supervision at all times.

Are linens, towels, and toiletries provided?

Yes. Bath towels and beach towels are provided, as well as toilet paper, water shoes, and snorkeling masks and goggles for your enjoyment.

Is there drinking water, coffee, salt, and pepper?

Yes. Faro Romain provides a 20-liter garrafón of drinking water, as well as coffee, salt, pepper, and cooking oil.

Where is the nearest store?

In the Centenario area, about 20 minutes away by car, you’ll find several stores and services, including Supercito Chedraui, OXXO, convenience stores, pharmacies, gas station, health center etc.

Do we need to bring food or other supplies, or are there stores nearby?

Yes, we strongly recommend arriving with all the food and drinks you’ll need for your stay. However, there is a restaurant just 300 meters from the lighthouse called El Encanto, which offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner at very affordable prices.

What activities can we do nearby?

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including relaxing on the beach, kayaking along the sea near beautiful nearby cliffs, snorkeling on the reef in front of the lighthouse, hiking in the canyon, and stargazing at night.

What is the cancellation policy?

We follow the same cancellation policy as listed on our Airbnb announcement. Guests receive a full refund if they cancel within 24 hours of booking, or at least 30 days before arrival. A 50% refund applies for cancellations made between 7 and 30 days before arrival. No refund is issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival.
